Christie White is suing California in order to allow her the right to choose to die in her own home. She has had Leukemia for for many years, and though shes in partial remission right now, she wants to make sure that she can have the opportunity to have an aided death in the comfort of her home.She has joined many other people in the fight for this to happen. They brought up the case of Brittany who fought for the same cause, who had to move to Oregon, wich is one of the few states that allows for this to happen.
I dont think it matters if a person wants to have an aided death in the comfort of their own home or not, This relates to other problems of passing laws that we have seen throughout american history, especially when it comes to dealing with death and the rights of death, like in the sixties when it became a big deal when the courts passed the law making birth control legal.
