Rolls Royce SUV (Miguel Dones 6th)

'Rolls Royce just announced that they are offering their customers with a "go-anywhere vehicle". This is a huge shock to people, since Rolls Royce has never made anything but flashy vehicles. Mercedes, Lexus, and Porsche have already came out with SUV's to their customers but Rolls-Royce have been putting it off. Their main competitor, the Lamborghini Ferrari, has vowed never to make an SUV. Customers are overjoyed and shocked. Rolls Royce is predicting that the sales for the new vehicle are going to go through the roof. This reminds me of the invention of the car, and the assembly line that Ford invented. With the assembly line, cars like the Rolls Royce can exist. However, assembly lines were to make cars cheaper, and I wouldn't consider a Rolls Royce cheap. http://money.cnn.com/2015/02/17/autos/rolls-royce-suv/index.html

  1. That was a good connection and I like that you mentions the cost issue because that was the first thing that came to mind when you compared this to the assembly line.
