Truck Driver Arrested in California Train Crash

A train crashed into a truck stuck on the railroad in California on Tuesday. Over 20 people were
injured. The driver said he got stuck in the tracks and fled the scene to avoid injury. This is the
second major train accident in one month which has lead officials to wonder if they need to
regulate trains more and take more precautions in the future.
I'm not really sure how I feel about this yet because it was not mentioned whether the driver
who fled went or called for any help. I think it was smart to get out of there since he had a
chance to free himself, but if he knew a crash was bound to happen eventually and he didn't do
anything about it or didn't at least try to attempt to stop it then I do think he deserves to be
punished some how.
