Don't Turn the Camera Off: Daizha Lankford

After all of the things that have been going on in St. Louis, you would think that cops would do everything in their power to stay out of the limelight. A man who was kicked and beaten but also was carrying a hand gun himself is filing for a lawsuit against him. The station has reported "The city's Police Department has a policy on the use of dash cameras and other cameras, and the Police Department special order says the cameras should be left on until the event is concluded. When we saw that an officer had violated that policy, it was very disappointing," he said. "The internal affairs recommended discipline for the officer, which is what happened." I think after all of the stuff that is going on it is necessary that protocols are followed and maybe new tactics are used for all police in the country.
