Earthquake in Japan - Kennedi Mayes

A 6.7 earthquake has been reported to have hit the Japanese coast today. There was a report of the quakes epicenter being 83 kilometers northeast of Miyako, Japan. The same nuclear power plants that were affected by an earthquake on 2011 were checked and seem to be in tact. Officials say there should be no tsunami from this quake.

This is a scary event. You cant predict an earthquake or its magnitude.

  2. It's terrible that Japan had to experience another earthquake. I also hope that they don't experience nuclear issues like they did before.

  3. Even though an earthquake is a bad thing, it was good that there wasn't any significant damage this time around.
