Teen Killed in Maryland shootout- Glenna Loughlin 5th

A 16 year old boy, Jason C. Hendrix was being chased by police for ignoring a traffic stop by a Maryland state trooper. He drove for 30 miles before caught. He started shooting and hit one of the officers then the police started shooting back. The police officer hit was wearing his vest so no injuries took place.
These situations are dangerous because it proves anyone of any age could hold a gun or other weapon and try to threaten or kill to get out of a situation.

  2. Wow! Well, this shows how shaky guns and gun laws are. Something really needs to be done so stop people from being hurt and killed.

  3. Even our gun laws now only push regulations to a certain point. black markets still allow for people to get a hold of guns even if they are not qualified to do so, putting many people at risk.

  4. The topic of weapon regulation is very sensitive because both sides have a point. Weapons enable self defense. On the other hand, it also allows certain, violent people to use these weapons negatively (school shootings, mass murders, etc).

  5. This is an example that guns can bring no good. It is very sad to see how guns have affected this young mans life.
