False gun scare causes panic at LAX by Princess Strickland
Today at a major Los Angeles airport, LAX, travelers were frightened and ran to what they considered safety after an announcement was made on the airport's announcement system. The announcement informed the airport's occupants that their was a gunman on the loose at the airport. This sent the travelers into understandable panic. They fled the airport running to the tarmac. The tarmac is the place often called the runway where the plains leave the gate and take off.
Unfortunately, the passengers were misinformed over the announcement. The real issue was that there was a man attempting to commit suicide that police officer's chased to the airport. The man was not armed.
The public has no tolerance for any scares of this sort with all of the recent and historical terrorism activity including U. S. citizens showing allegiance to terrorism groups. Recently, that included the 6 Bosnian U.S immigrants.
