Cornell University is having their students pay a penalty for not buying the schools health insurance, even if they already have their own coverage. These students must pay a $350 fee which according to the schools newspaper The Cornell Review, wont be covered by financial aid. Additional to this fee, the students have to pay a $10 co-pay fee when visiting the schools health center. With the announcement 150 students raided the administrative building and the presidents office. Regardless Cornell will be dubling down on the issue.
This relates to how people have been able to fight against things which they feel are taking advantage of them and are not really necessary, and many might connect Cornell's actions as a sort of socialism.

This illustrated how unfair and borderline illegal it is to force somebody to buy something they do not wish to buy. Where is the freedom in that? If you walked into your local grocery store and a government official held a gun to your head and demanded you buy some bacon, you would feel oppressed and as though your freedom was infringed upon. Health care is no different. Its socialist, tryannical and border line communist.
