American troops were starting to deal with P.T.S.D

Susan Selke, left, the mother of Clay Hunt, watched President Obama sign the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act during a ceremony Thursday in the East Room of the White House.

American troops were starting to deal with P.T.S.D, when they returned from Afghanistan and Iraq. President Obama decided to sign a measure into law, to fight suicide caused from stress. So the House and Senate decided to vote for the measure and make it easier for veterans to gain better mental health resources.

I connect this to the GI Bill, in World War ll because GI Bill and the Suicide prevention law both provided help for the veterans. I think this is a good law because 22 veterans killed themselves everyday. Also studies show that "the rate is higher among those who do not receive mental health."
