Julia Hunt - How Trump's base could get us into a nuclear war

In the article, reporter David A. Andelman breaks down the possible repercussions of Donald Trump cutting trade ties with South Korea due to them trading with its northern counterpart and the withdrawal from a free-trade deal that he has with South Korea. Of course, what would be a Trump story without some (three this time) of his critical advisors opposing this idea. Not only will this affect our country's relation with South Korea, but it will harm the American economy, the one thing Trump is so adamant about fixing through the American beef business and South Korean tech.

I wholeheartedly agree with this article. If Donald Trump actually does this, it'll harm the already fragile economy, lose us an ally in a war that we all fear might happen, and perhaps send Asia into a place where peace doesn't exist.

  1. There are no clear-cut correct options to take, as the tensions between the United States and North Korea grow to even greater heights, but weakening our relations with South Korea is not the way to go. Trump needs to be strengthening relations with allies in the region.

  2. The thought of a nuclear war happening truly is terrifying and our current government leaders sure do not make it easy to feel safe. When will he stop trying to hurt our economy and our people and start creating allies and making nAmerica a safe refugee for all people.

  3. He needs to set aside his pride and work at the underlying problems at hand. There will be no new and better economy to live in if people are dead from a nuclear war. On top of that America is fragile politically, geographically, and most of all socially. We need a president who is willing to do what it takes to save his country and look out for others.

  4. I think Trump need to get off his high horse, honestly. Maybe if he stopped having so many altercations with foreign leader we wouldn't have all of this tension. He should step back and recognize how this will affect the country as a whole, THEN make the best decision for our economy and safety.
