The united states wants to place strategic assets near the korean peninsula, what these assets were, were not well defined. The intended purpose of this move was to protect South Korea and Japan, or attack north korea either way north korea does not want a war but they seem to try to justify why there should be a war by threatening the united states. but resulted in the united states putting preventative measures against the rogue state then causing this endless chain.
I agree, I think that their actions are contradicting their statements. Actions speak louder than words.
