Fake Missile Launch by Jules Stowe

Iran supposedly launched a missile last Friday, including with the claim a video of the take off. That's why it came as such a surprise when American officials came out and claimed that there was no missile launch test Friday, and that the video was several months old. Trumps only real non-tweet response was calling the incident an "embarrassment" in front of several world leaders. Iranian President made it clear shortly after that they never threatened anyone, but "will not be tolerating threats of any kind".

This has relevance because once again we have a prime example of our country's leader creating unnecessary tension between America and the other countries. This conflict could have easily been handled and there were really no need for threats or defensiveness. America's number of positive foreign relations seems to be going down at a shockingly steep decline. Now is not the time to burn every bridge we have.

  1. I agree with you that the president is severely damaging foreign ties, especially with countries in the Middle East. Our alliances are extremely important, and I don't think Trump sees this.
