North Korea's foreign minister said on Monday President Donald Trump had declared war on North Korea and that Pyongyang reserved the right to take countermeasures, including shooting down US bombers even if they are not in its air space. Ri Yong Ho said a twitter message by Trump on saturday, in which the president warned that the minister and North korean leader Kim Jong Un "won't be around much longer" if they acted on their threats, amounted to a declaration of war.
This is very scary because we always learn about wars in APUSH, but I have never actually experienced what war is like. It is scary to think about what could happen and if it is going to be major or minor. This article was probably written to raise awareness that we could possibly be going into war. This can be connected to other wars in history that we have learned about such as the french and indian war.

I agree with the fact that a war evokes fright for many people, including myself. With the distance we have with North Korea any thing can happen. I just hope that with all the new technologies that have been developed we will be able to prevent as many airstrikes as possible.

ReplyDeleteThis scares me too. I didn't know we already declared war. We are usually so lucky to have the wars fought across the seas, but this one could actually bring danger to our lands.
War starts a fire within people because people always have something to fight for! It scares me to think we could have a war. The world is really scary right now!
