Former Rep. Anthony Weiner was sentenced to 21 months in prison for sexting with a minor. Witnesses say he openly cried in courts when his sentence was determined. Leading up to this, he has had a history with this "sex addiction". On May 27th 2011, an inappropriate picture of him was on his twitter. He told everyone that it was a prank and hired a lawfirm to investigate the "prankster". On June 6, 2011, however, he admitted to saying he lied about being hacked and that he had inappropriate relationships with several other women. On June 12, 2011, TMZ found pictures of Weiner taking pictures of himself undressing in a locker room. On July 23, 2013, a gossip site had screenshots of explicit conversations he had with another woman. Keep in mind his wife, Abedin, has still been together with him and even had a son until August 29, 2016. Abedin was "furious and sickened" when a photo of Weiner was shown half dressed, sexting, with his 4-year old son near him. And now Weiner has been sent to prison for sexting a 15 year old minor.
Weiner admitted to saying guilty by saying, “I have a sickness, but I do not have an excuse,”. Personally, I have no sympathy for him whatsoever. For him to have gotten to the point of engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year girl is disgusting and I hope he finds professional help.
