Our own president is actually going against one of the fundamental rights given to us by the Bill of Rights, seriously, what alternate dimension are we living in? This can be connected through US History through the non-violent protests of MLK and the violent protests of the Pre-American Revolution. We, as Americans, have the right to protest peacefully about social issues without the fear of losing our jobs.
I completely agree with your point about the American right to peaceful protests, but i personally find the kneeling during the anthem disrespectful to military veterans who sacrificed themselves to see that anthem sung and that flag flown.
