In this clip of Last Week Tonight, John Oliver breaks down the Presidential Pardon on Arizona's Joe Arpaio, a man charged with racial profiling. Arpaio also has been under the watch of human rights and civil liberties organizations for his treatment of those in jail. He also has some trouble to when it comes to sex-crimes (400 in 2011 were not properly investigated).
With this pardon, we could see more law enforcement slip through the cracks when it comes to enforcing the law properly. As a society, we need to stop and think about what this means. As times go on, more injustices to those in jail, who are in fact human, will occur, resulting in more problems that need to be addressed
