Interesting turn of events. Recently, there has been controversy surrounding Trump and Colin Kapernick and the effect he had when he "took the knee". Several teams have followed suit to make a statement, much to Trump's chagrin. Surprisingly, on Monday's football game, when the Dallas Cowboys took the knee, Trump, uncharacteristically went to Twitter to call the Cowboys' actions, "progress",  due to them taking the knee BEFORE the National Anthem. The Cowboy's team leaders, Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett remained vague about their comments surrounding the topic.

  1. I agree with the cowboys taking that stance before the anthem because there are many people that will take the anthem seriously and dont take kindly to people disrespecting the country they grew up in.
