A former New York congress man, Anthony Weiner, was sentenced to 21 months in prison for lewd instant text messages sent to an underage girl. US District Judge Denise Cote said: Weiner "has a disease. He has a compulsivity. Some say a sex addiction." He knowingly asked a 15 year old girl to send him photos of her body and asked her to undress on camera.
I think thay this is absolutely disgusting and the fact that he tried to revive his political career is actually messed up. He needs to accept the fact that his career is over and stop promoting this kind of behavior. If he had been elected mayor of New York, it would show someone who can do those awful things can still be successful and be an authority figure.
His actions were atrocious and I hope that more punishments for this type of behavior follow this case.

I agree that this is absolutely disgusting. He should've known better than to have initiated in this; he deserves these consequences.
ReplyDeleteIt's so disgusting there's people like this. The fact that someone said he has a "sex addiction" is stupid, he's just a pedophile, plain and simple. Whatever "disease" he may have does not excuse his actions, and he shouldn't be allowed to run for any political position.
ReplyDeleteThe acts of this man absolutely disgust me; it saddens me that he, at one point, has had say on the laws and rules passed at the regional and state level. People like him do not give me much hope for the future course of lawmaking in the near future.
