Kim Jong Un Calls Trump ‘deranged’, and Vows He Will ‘pay dearly’

The North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un is known to be a loose cannon, and could blow at any moment.  President Trump made a speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, September 19, saying “we cannot have [North Korea] as a world body any longer.”  In response to that speech, Kim took the chance to fight back saying that the president is “unfit to hold the prerogative of supreme command of a country,” and “a rouge and a gangster fond of playing with fire.”  Trump’s speech also made it clear to Kim Jong Un that the nuclear program is of great importance to his country.  President Trump has also given the Treasury Department power to target businesses and banks still trading with the rouge nation, which the president finds unacceptable.

The article was written on September 21, 2017 and was published by Fox News.  The article is important because it once again highlights the disagreements between America and North Korea, but this one is different because it is more from Kim Jong    Uns point of view, and what he has to say on the matter.  I find the article ironic because President Trump along with the American public has been saying that Jong Un is the unfit ruler, but he is saying the same thing about Trump.  North Korea has performed many nuclear tests, but Trump is the one who is playing with fire.  Both countries seem completely fed up with each other, and it will not be long before fighting erupts.  The situation today in North Korea can be compared to the conflict in the Middle East, when the United States couldnt get along with the Taliban running the government.  I find Kim Jong Un to be an unstable ruler, and the words that he has said about President Trump are extremely ironic.

  1. There is definitely irony between these to leaders. The fact they are threatening each other and the president is tweeting further about AND announcing this at the United Nations meeting just goes to show that both of these leaders show very bigoted qualities.

  2. I find it HILARIOUSLY not funny how they are in charge of weather or not we have a world war or not and their arguing who has more guts than the other. I just hope nothing serious gets started.

  3. It's fairly entertaining to read their argument because they sound like 7 year olds. Neither of them seem to want to prevent a war, or maintain the peace, so I honestly have no idea where this is going.
