Hurricane Harvey hit Houston hard. Small communities are doing everything they can to start rebuilding their community. 20 trillion gallons of water is flooding communities in Houston.Twenty trillion gallons is equivalent to the biggest waterfall at Niagara Falls. 18 people dead, 50,000 rescued, and 500,000 cars waterlogged. In our chapters of reading, it talks about tightly-knit communities. That reminds me of whats happening right now, because many different families are helping each other through this horrible event and its bringing everyone closer together because of it. Even people that aren't from Houston are providing and helping, which is bringing everyone close together. Just like it did back in earlier history we are studying right now.
