Kate Walsh was diagnosed with meningioma: a tumor arising from the lining that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. She had surgery to have the tumor removed but the doctors said that it was benign.
Walsh had severe headaches and lost her balance a lot. Her condition worsened so drastically that her boyfriend urged her to see a neurologist. Doctors put her on an anti-sesiure medication before she went under the knife again. The tumor she had developed were most likely known to double in size in as little as a week. However, the fog was lifted and her tumor was removed...it was a miracle. Walsh says to trust your instincts and your body.
This article is important to me because when my grandma was alive she had developed a brain tumor after she got into a car wreck.I have learned to live everyday to the fullest and never take life for granted. It's easy for God to create us and its easy for us to fall from his grace but as long as you stay faithful to God he will work miracles for you and for others.

I find this article ironic because the actor is well known for playing a doctor. Furthermore, I like this post because it has more life to it. Most current events just revolve around politics and the economy which can sometimes make our country come across as cold.

ReplyDeleteI too, like Sadie, found the irony of this article shocking. In real life you never expect a doctor to get sick. That doesn't change from TV to reality. It's similar to Michael J. Fox, he was always perceived as a young actor but suffers from an "old man's disease" called Parkinsons. This is terrible news and I hope for the best for Kate Walsh.
