 Hurricane Maria
http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/18/americas/atlantic-storms-maria-jose-lee/index.html

Summary:

On Monday afternoon Hurricane Maria hit the island of Dominica. Classified as a category 5 with winds up to 160 miles per hour it has been the most intense storm to hit the island. Along with Dominica, Puerto Rico ( an american territory ) is in the path of Maria.  Last week both islands were hit by Hurricane Irma and reconstruction has been difficult already. Due to the recommended evacuation of the islands many shelters are being over populated and people are narrowing down their lost resources.

 Analysis:

Maria's path is following Most of Irma's path but reaching a turning point before it reaches the island of Cuba. This means most of the islands affected by the first storm are once again getting hit by yet another storm. For Puerto Rico Maria could be much more dangerous than hurricane Hugo and Georges. Although Hugo and Georges caused death as well as evacuation, the US AIR FORCE RESERVE C-30 Hurricane Hunter has declared the island in state of emergency and strongly encouraging evacuation. Where are all these tropical storms coming from? The temperature in the atlantic is rising and the humidity of the previous storms cause the formation of new storms in the ocean. After this storm passes the next uprising storm is Hurricane Jose which is expected to hit the East coast but not cause as much destruction. Reconstruction, as always, will cause a shift in the economy and many of the citizens lives will be altered.
