Walter M. Shaub Jr., the director of Government Ethics has announced that he is stepping down. Shaub has repeatedly challenged the Trump Administration. Publicly urging him to separate from his business empire and has criticized a senior Trump adviser for violating ethics rules. People and opponents has praised Shuad, making a Facebook page in his honor and his name has even appeared on anti-Trump posters. He resigns, six months before his term is over, saying its of his own free will and believes he can make more of a difference at his new post at the Campaign Legal center. Hoping to strengthen government ethnic programs at the federal and state levels.
If someone believes that they can do better for themselves or others through change, wether it be through new clothes and a hair cut or getting a new job than I say go for it. And in this scenario I hope it works out and that this is what Shaub really wants. I believe that he wants to make a difference and feels that he has done what he can as the old director of Government Ethics, but I worry that there are some type of ulterior motives at hand. Maybe not on Shaub's side but another player in the government chess game that is America right now. Seeing a stronge public presence against Trump possibly showing defeat can be concerning for people at a time like this.

This is great. This is powerful. This is a joyous moment. This is exactly what America needs. It needs people who are not afraid to challenge Trump. Apparently, we as the American people have no effect in Trumps final decisions but if people on his team stand up for us maybe then he will start to listen.
