Team Zada - Angelique Flores 9th period

Michelle Zada Hall a dance teacher at Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, dancer her way through the fight of Breast Cancer. The month of October "Breast Cancer Awareness Month" has had a major kickoff with a representation of Michelle's fight. On July 1st the call came in to  Booker T notifying that she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Invasive Breast Cancer and it had spread to her spine. A lot of different effects of the cancer had Hall concerned about her future being from the cancer getting worse to the tumor spreading and moving to her spine. She was diagnosed with the cancer in May of 2015 and immediately started her chemotherapy. most people the chemotherapy would drain them of their energy but is gives Hall more energy than shes had before! she was interviewed and has been featured on Channel 8 news and POWERHANDZ "Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month" campaign and they have created bracelets and t-shirts those funds will be donated to her to help with the financial affects this has had on her.

analysis: I chose this article because it relates in US History to many of the plagues and diseases that have occurred and made many people aware and caused many people to be affected by it. just like Ms. Hall has been affected with this and in conclusion to the sickness... Michelle Zada Hall has danced her way through her fight with cancer, and being such a strong Woman,  has not allowed this cancer to affect her or her dancing in any way. She continues to inspire me and many others with her strength and has completely turned the tables on this cancer. her tumor has shrank and she has continued to remain positive throughout this entire life changing event. She truly is a very Powerful Woman and at this point nothing and I mean NOTHING can stop her!

  1. Ms.Hall is my director for World Dance Ensemble. Even after getting chemo, she'll still come to rehearsal with tons of energy! Individuals like Ms.Hall can serve as an inspiration by encouraging everyone to look at life with a positive attitude.

  2. Cancer has become such a terrible but common occurrence recently. Mrs. Hall is such a positive example not only for other people fighting cancer but for each and every one of us. She continues to give us knowledge and dance her heart out despite her cancer and it's truly inspirational.
