Summary:
On Monday, Hillary Clinton released what she says is her gun control plan for if she is to be elected as President. The plan touches on requirements that would be enforced such as, more detailed background checks and major control on online gun sales. She then unveiled a softer side of her and invited a mother of 6 who was effected by a resent shooting to deliver her personal story to further sell her plan.
Analysis;
This current event can be connected back to the 2nd Amendment which is Gun Rights. Will Clinton's plan be received well? Will citizens be offended that she proposed something that goes against our current Constitution and Bill of Rights? Or will this plan be heavily supported due to all of the recent events and lack of knowledge on gun safety? Personally, I do support the potential heavier rules and regulations that may be put on all fire arms because of the tragedies that have been happening so frequently.

It is good that she has a plan for gun control if she were elected. A lot of people talk about the need to improve our country's gun control yet not a lot of people act on it, so this a very productive step.
ReplyDeleteMore gun control laws are a necessity, and I believe inevitable with the increase in mass shootings, so it's time somebody seriously advocates for them.
