Summary: A recent school incident has opened the eyes of many, not only in South Carolina, but across the nation. A high school student refused to turn over her cellphone in class last Wednesday, and faced rather cruel or unusual punishments. One of the school's deputy officers was called into class to deal with a situation. We see in digital recordings of the incident, that deputy was seeing using an excessive amount of force, furthermore putting the student at risk.
Analysis: We recognize that the safety of the children is at the top of our list. Especially since so many school shootings have been performed, we see as a society how big of an issue this pic is. However, we must know WHO we are chasing to protect our kids. Obviously, this officer is exactly not we are looking for, so we have to be aware of who is presented before us, and if they are necessary.

I saw this video and was disgusted. I also think the social media force can be so powerful for awareness of events like these. gross
