Erin O'Day - Team Carson puts Hillary's 'Hard Choices' to use

Hillary Clinton sent a copy of her memoir, Hard Choices, to Ben Carson's campaigning offices, and the staff there "put it to good use" by using it as a coaster, a laptop stand, a step stool, and a door stopper, saying "thanks Hillary" each time.

I find this so frustratingly petty and it really shows what our politics have become: just a series of moves and counter moves. This tradition of presidential races involving "baby kissing," and the likes, just like how it is today, with candidates constantly coming up with ways to insult each other, started in the early 19th century when the two-party system was really getting along and candidates garnered followers and supporters.

  1. I agree that this is frustrating! Political candidates insult each other more than they actually talk about important issues. Candidates should be more civilized and prove to voters that they deserve to be in office. --Claudia Anthony
