IM VERY ANGRY ABOUT THIS MEAT IN MY VEGGIE DOG -Lauren Forrest Flex

OK IM VERY ANGRY CAUSE I JUST READ THAT 10% OF VEGETARIAN HOT DOGS CONTAIN MEAT????? RUDE????
Okay but seriously. 10% of Vegetarian hot dogs contain meat and 2% contain HUMAN DNA. THAT'S HUMAN DNA FOLKS. NOT COOL.
14.4% of the hot dogs tested by company Clear Foods were "problematic". Clear Foods uses genetic sequencing to find out what is in the food we eat. It was found that the nutrition labels were sometimes inaccurate, and there were pork, chicken, and even lamb substitutions in these hot dogs.

This tells me nothing totally new about hot dogs though, since I don't trust even the vegetarian ones. I'm more upset for my vegetarian friends who are sometimes very serious and even have religions involved in keeping meat out of their diets. But seriously, there's not much better about a ground up log of not meat, as opposed to a ground up log of some sort of meat...

  1. This is horrible!! I'm vegetarian, and although it's not for like super important reasons, it's still so annoying. I never knew that. And human DNA? What kind of DNA are we talking here? This is a tragedy for hot dog fans everywhere. Nora Bracy 5th

  3. being a vegan this just makes it harder to trust ingredients labels on my food considering that there may be hidden ingredients in it, also like how did human dna get in there!?

  5. Wait hold on, what is this about Human DNA? That's terrible. Plus, saying that it's vegetarian when it's not is straight up lying. They could be sued. - Gunnar Ozuna Period 6

  6. ok but honestly meat is more expensive than not meat??? they could have just put some cheap filler or something? This doesnt make sense since most vegetarian fake meat companies JUST sell fake meat so ummm very rude and disrespectful to ME, a vegetarian!
