Footage of mistreated black high school girl by white deputy, investigation...pending?-Eleni Loving p.1

On October 27, 2015 multiple videos were published on social media sites taken from students' phones from South Carolina's Spring Valley High School. The video showed a black teenage girl refusing an officer's wishes from standing and leaving her math class, after being caught with her cell phone. The video shows the white officer deputy, Ben Fields, tipping her desk backwards while dragging her out of her seat to the front of the class, and handcuffing her. The deputy's superior, Sheriff Lott was deflecting questions, but vaguely stated that he was reviewing the deputy's actions. Fields has had two offenses prior to this one which the jury found in favor of fields and the other, pending.

This is unacceptable and quite honestly makes me ashamed that I live in a country that tolerates any part of this. It's crazy for me to think of how all of these similar cases are aligned quite perfectly, which makes it even harder for me to fathom the inaction of the trainers of the officers. We should feel safe by them, not afraid for our lives and families. This case and entire topic is repeating from the entire civil rights era. Where black people of all ages were fighting for their god given rights as human beings pretty much all throughout history.
