Above is the story of a hero. The man Chris Mintz was one of the heroes that took action on the day of the Oregon shooting. The article says that he took at least 4 gunshots in trying to save others lives. Many are praising him through social media and recognizing his bravery.
This connects to APUSH because in history we are constantly reminded about heroes. There are heroes that stood up against what was wrong to make things right. To mother countries, such as Britain, some leaders were considered heroes because they claimed land for them and helped carry out mercantilism. I admire the bravery of this man. It takes a lot of courage in a person to take bullets for others.
That is amazing the selflessness and courage that the had. It is great to see that we, as a nation, continue to have a brotherhood and continue to stand up for one another.
