Art Leads To Revolution? -Alex Travell

Russia easily has one of the most interesting art societies. People have always held a special place in it. During periods like the glasnost("openness") period, there was little to no authority to what was being produced. Because of this lack of authority, there was a very large influential public opinion, resulting in rapid changes in Russia's society. These changes ultimately led to multiple revolts against the government.

This reminds me of when people experienced a sort of realization in early America, and began making beautiful art and planning revolts against the government. They too had little authority when it came to their art, and this led to stronger ideas and desires for revolution.
