More than 180 women were sexually assaulted by massage envy. According to the BuzzFeed news investigation, women complained about being assaulted at its locations. According to Buzzfeed, Massage envy claims it is not responsible for sexual assault in its franchised spas. Massage Envy will never stop reinforcing their franchises and said that one incident is too many.
This is just horrifying and terrible, and I believe that this franchise was trying to cover up these incidents and didn't take them seriously. And now that the topic has been brought up they are trying to seem like they aren't so bad BUT they ARE. We need to do better as a society and be more aware of sexual predators like those evil men who wanted to take advantage of women.
The company needs to take accountability for the people representing them! All of these people being accused of assault don't seem to realize that it's much more honorable to just own up to their actions and apologize.
