North Korean solider makes a run for freedom

An unknown North Korean solider made a run for freedom last Wednesday. He sped towards the southern border of the country hoping to make it to South Korea. The man is thought to be in his 20s and he made the escape in the Demilitarized Zone. He is in stable condition and has regained consciousness, but thats not all. The solider was severely parasitized by worms, in addition to having hepatitis B and blood poisoning, resulting from cross contamination from his abdominal wounds. The UN Command's special investigation team was reviewing the video of the man crossing the border in the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), and they concluded that the North Koreans violated the armistice agreement twice during the incident by firing weapons across the line in the DMZ.  The UN Command notified the North Korean army and military and discuss it. When the brave man was trying to escape, his jeep got stuck in a dutch, so he had to cross on foot. He got shot five times and passed out. Thankfully, he was across the border and the South Koreans dragged him to a safe spot.

This event in Korea will affect US history greatly because our country is a part of the United Nation, and the UN is going to have a meeting with North Korea about violating the armistice agreement made in 1953. It is terrible that the government in this country doesn't care for their people at all to the point to where they have parasites in their bodies and blood poisoning. Hopefully, all of the countries will unite and come together to end this.

  1. I read about this in an article, the parasitic wounds are a testament to how bad the conditions in North Korea are.

  2. I wonder how the man managed to escape without getting caught. I agree that the worms are a sign of the poor living conditions in North Korea.

  5. Honestly it’s stuff like this that should make us realize hat this has gone on for way too long. We need to end this, whether it be expensive or not, people are risking their lives for very little right now, and the stalemate isn’t worth it.
