Online sales boomed on Black Friday
This Black Friday American shoppers were seen to spend as much as 5 billion dollars as whole in 24 hours. They found that about 80% of the sales were made on online shopping websites. Due to this incline of online shopping stores are loosing the in store sales. Some stores such as Macy's and Gap have suffered this Black Friday, because the other stores which are more online-savvy have pretty much taken over the market. This is when the more traditional stores are not doing as well as they could be.
It is so amazing to see how things have changed. Black Friday has always been a huge day where people go crazy and shop all day to find the best sales they can. However, now all they have to do is click a few buttons on there phone or computer, totally avoiding the whole Black Friday seen. In general it is amazing to see how technology has evolved throughout history. We have come so far, and it honestly seems like the whole world revolves around technology... Which is honestly kind of sad. We are loosing the ability to communicate and personally connect with others. There are, however, many advantages to the development of technology.
