     On November 27,2017 for the first time China sentences a Taiwanese human rights activist to five years in prison. China claimed that Lee Ming-cheh was conspiring against the chinese government with a partner and was planning a revolution.

Analysis:

     This controversy comes to address the ownership of taiwan. Many people argue that China and Taiwan is one single nation-state while others argue its two different states. So does the Chinese government really have the power to sentence a taiwanese citizen?
