On Saturday November 25, there was a bombing and shooting in an Mosque in Egypt. So far, there is an estimated 305 to be dead, and 127 to be injured. This is devastatingly abrupt and so far, authorities have not been able to tell if it was an act of ISIS. What they do know, is that this Mosque was one that practiced the Sufism branch of Islam. This leads people to believe that the jihadists have something to do with this, since they believe that this branch is immoral.
Regardless of if that is immoral, there was no just reason for that attack to have been struck of hundreds of innocent people. Fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, wives, husbands, those are just some of the victims of this vicious attack. Hopefully this incident will bring some issues to light about terrorism that we have not shone upon yet and give people a deeper understanding so nothing like this happens ever again.
This is terrible. It hurts me to know that many people suffered from this. Attacks like these have a very negative impact on not just those involved, but also friends and family members and the entirety of Egypt.
