Texas church turned into a memorial after mass shooting
On the first service back after a gunman opened fire and killed 25 people and an unborn child, the church opened its doors to the public to see what they have done. They had transformed the inside to a memorial. From the ground to the celling was painted completely white. In the memorial there is 26 white chairs and 25 red roses one on each of the chairs and 1 pink rose for the un born child. Some of the victims voices played in the background reading scripture or even prayers. This is a very special place for all the families and friends effected.
I think this is so special. This really shows how much love and support surrounds a community. The coming together of lots of people effected or not is so inspiring. Little things like this ultimately have the biggest impact in the long run. The events that surround us daily aren't always the happiest or best situations but each of them makes us stronger in many different ways. It was beautiful how they honored those who lost their lives.

  1. I agree with this because it shows how much love and support surrounds a community, and how people can come together

  3. It's sad to know that once a place of worship is now being known as a memorial for the lives lost in that awful shooting. My heart goes out to the families.

  4. People are supposed to feel loved and safe in a church. There needs to be more gun control laws to prevent tragedies like this.
