This article is talking about innocent 2.2 million little boys and girls' voices being recorded in CloudPets toys. The original purpose of CloudPets toys is to record messages to send to family members, but however, a mistake was made and these recordings where available through an insecure database. It is currently shut down, but because of the small mistake made, many kids and adults feel unsure an weary about their privacy. 

All throughout history, people have always been concerned about how secure their privacy is or how involved the government is in it. But knowing that your voice recordings can be out in the internet somewhere shows how terrifying everything can be. It's scary to know what the government has control over and how involved it can be in your life. It's as if you're constantly being watched.
