Synopsis: Warren Buffet has recently said that "America's great now -- it's never been greater." This contradicts completely what GOP candidate Donald Trump says about the state of the nation, wearing the slogan "Make America Great Again" on his hat. Buffet argues that the U.S. housing market is slowly getting better and making the economy stronger. Even though he thinks the economy is improving, he thinks inequality is a significant problem in the U.S. He's been right in the past about the economy, saying "Buy American" during the recession in 2008, and the people that followed him ended up doing very well. When speaking about the race for the presidency, he claims that the GOP has become two separate parties, and that Hillary Clinton is most likely to win the election, that is if enough people show up to vote.
Analysis: I think Buffet is right about the inequality issue, but I don't know if he can rightly say that America's economy is great if he's been a billionaire for many years now. He doesn't have to experience what the lower class is experiencing in America's current economy. This whole three political parties business is similar to the beginnings of the United States when some parties, like the Federalists, were vanishing, and some were establishing themselves. As for the presidency, it's always difficult to tell who is going to win the election, as it has been since the days of Jefferson and Adams.
