U.S.: Iran Missile Test "likely violated U.N. Resolution- Katherine Flores

Summary: Iran tested a new surface to surface ballistic missile which could be a violation of UN resolution because Iran is apparently not suppose to be engaging in any activities that involve ballistic missiles. However, it is also being said that it isn't a violation because it restricts Iran from having a nuclear weapon. Plus, that resolution hasn't gone into effect yet.

Analysis: I believe that Iran should be able to test their missiles because for defense purposes, it is better for them to know for sure if it even works or not. I understand where the United States is coming from, but it isn't their right to call out anyone especially since, the resolution hasn't even taken place yet. This sort of relates to the fight for our own individual freedoms that we have been fighting for so long to attain. I feel that until something is our problem or we are involved somehow, we should just stay in our own lanes. Accusing Iran is just unfair because they have a right to defend their country.

  1. i agree its not the place of the U.S to say what they should and shouldn't be testing. they're simply testing and not intending to do any damage. though its understandable why america would think what they do since the world is resulting to violent ways now.
