Removing a statue and how America was founded--Robert Swofford

In Oklahoma there was a statue bearing the ten commandments on it, which was removed not too long ago facing unspecified reasons. This is a rather sad moment when you think about it, since America and everyone who clambered for it, wanted it for land, their religion and freedom. And since America was founded it stuck with Christianity, and the 10 Commandments were followed suited since it was another basic principle when America was being conceived.

I agree this is very sad. If you think about it, it is like how the British felt when they had to appeal many of their acts due to conflicts between different people

  2. It doesn't seem right to remove something with that much significance. It represented religion and much more.
