"Pray for crew:" Relatives await definite news of El Faro's missing- Katherine Flores

Summary: The article basically talked about the relatives of the people that got aboard El Faro and their reactions to this very unfortunate news. They all are trying to send a beacon of hope out into the world that'll bring the crew back safe and sound. It also provides some information on the people that were aboard the ship so the reader can feel more attached to the story.

Analysis: When I read this article, it definitely reminded me of how I imagine the relatives of the Roanoke settlers to have reacted when they were told, their husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, etc. had disappeared. I also thought that this seemed crazy because even though boats used to get lost all the time during the period of colonization, for them to get lost now, it seems rare. I feel that with all the technology that is used everywhere now, the ship shouldn't have gotten lost. Nevertheless, I pray for the missing ship to appear soon and bring back the innocent people it took.

  2. Yes i agree it does seem pretty weird for a boat to just disappear especially with no trace.
