Ted Cruz, a Republican presidential candidate, recently said in a speech in Michigan that Obama was crazy for letting in 10,000 Muslim refugees from Syria. He says that among the refugees they are undoubtedly many ISIS terrorists who have infiltrated their ranks. He the goes to say that though he is against Muslim people entering the US from the Middle East, he is totally fine with Christians from the same area entering the country.
What difference does it make if people are Christian or Muslim. They should be saved just because of the fact that they are human beings. It amazes me how time after time again people let go of basic decency and morals because of their religious views. It goes to show that religion of all types can corrupt people to do terrible things and make terrible choices. All throughout history this has been evident, and after looking at US history it is incredibly clear. The best example of course is the Salem Witch Trials. The puritans killed many innocent people just because of what a couple of children said.

i agree that everyone should be treated equally no matter what their religion is. its disgusting how people still think that every muslim is going to do something threatening. people need to get over their stereotypes and accept everyone until they do something wrong to you personally.
