Lincoln Anthony (8th Period)- "Ben Carson Talks Gun Rights, Syrian Crisis, and His New Book"

Republican presidential frontrunner Ben Carson has, throughout his campaign, has been very outspoken in his support of gun rights. He has gone so far as to say things like the Holocaust wouldn't have happened if the jewish people had guns, and that the answer to all of the mass shootings in the US are more guns. He the goes to say that the reason that Putin is taking military advances on the Middle East is for control of the energy resources there.

Ben Carson, like all of the other republican candidates in this presidential race, is just insane to the point that he is actually quite funny. I mean the answer to gun violence is more guns and even less control of them? If he really was as logical as he claims to be he would look at the countries like Australia and Canada who have control of their guns. They have so many less annual gun deaths than the US that he must actually be a bit messed up in the brain to conceivably think that more guns would equate to less gun deaths. I know that the second amendment is the right to bear arms, but should the open carry people really be allowed to carry around AK-47's and other military grade weapons.
