DAVINCI on Venus! -Eva Semrad 9th period

Many of us have heard about NASA and its recent discover of water on Mars and the future plans to send a manned mission, but few have heard of the new Venus missions. NASA has decided to send a probe, named DAVINCI (Deep Atmosphere Venus Investigation of Nobel gasses, Chemistry, and Imaging) will be dropped into the planet's atmosphere to read and relay information back to earth on the matter (no pun intended).

This new plan is incredibly important to humanity as a whole. In the 16th century, the Europeans nicknamed the Americas as the New World. At the time, the new food, culture, illness, and much more was introduced through the accidental and purposeful trade. Since then, we have gone to space, visited the moon, sent probes to Mars, and soon, probes to Venus. We may have discovered much of the "New Worlds" here on earth, but we can go as far as the stars.
