Car Bombings in Iraq by Kennedy Park

On Monday more than 50 people were killed in three separate attacks of car bombings. In the city of Al-Khalis at least 45 people were killed and 70 injured when a bomb went off in a busy outdoor market. Within a few hours a new attack occurred in Northeastern Baghdad when another bomb exploded which killed 2 and wounded 8. In Al-Zubayr, a few hours away, 9 people were killed and 22 wounded when yet another car bomb exploded. ISIS, via social media, later claimed responsibility for the bombing in Al-Zubayr. No groups have taken responsibility for the other two bombings.

50 innocent people have been murdered. I don't think that it is a coincidence that they were all car bombs a few hours away from each other. In the next few days everyone will be waiting to see if any news emerges about who is the cause of these mass murders. This relates back to history when America became known for protecting countries in need, which is why we are so involved in things such as ISIS today.
