Bombs Go Off in Turkey

Two bombs went off today at a peace rally near the main train station in Turkey. This marked to be one of the deadliest attacks on Turkey that can be remembered killing 95 people and wounding about 256. Most of the victims were attending a lunch time demonstration for an end to the renewed conflict between Kurdistan workers and the Turkish government. It is believed that it was a suicide bombing, there is even a video of people singing and dancing right before an orange glare and loud noise takes over the scene.

Analysis: One thing that you will always realize is that terrorists will risk anything and everything for their religion and country including their own lives. This makes it especially dangerous because they aren't worried about anything they are basically human  sacrifices. This reminds me of the bombing that we had here in America, in Boston to be exact, about three years ago. It was a bombing done by terrorists for their religion because they didn't care what happened to them or anyone else as long as their task and message was gotten across. We must be careful about where we go and what we do from today on forward because we never know when some tragedy can hit America, and we may not be ready for it.

BOMBING TERRORISTS DEADLY ATTACKS OH MY!!!

  1. It is so sad to hear about, yet another, bombing. I can't believe it killed 95 people. I mean 95... that's a lot... about half of our grade, which is kind of a scary thought. This is going to sound really basic and simple minded but honestly, when it gets down to it, I just really wish that people would calm down and think of others.

  2. These things are so unpredictable that you could just be out at lunch, without any worries, then all of a sudden something like this happens. I agree that suicide bombers are so unpredictable because they don't care if they live or die, so these situations are very scary/hard to control.

  3. Bombings like this prove how cruel people can be and how the lives of other people don't matter to them. Like you said, Americans today have to be very careful about their surroundings and who or what could be around them.

  4. This is so devastating to hear about but in today's society it is not that uncommon which is even more devastating. One of the more unfortunate things about this specific bombing is that they were in the middle of resolving some conflict very peacefully and all of their work was instantly diminished.
