Using force against ISIS? - Veronica Nichols

President Obama asked congress for authorization to engage in force against ISIS for a three year period.  He wants to try to stop ISIS from continuing the terrible things they are doing and at the same time he wants to limit the United States involvement to three years. The plan that has been laid out also limits the number of troops that will be allowed on the ground.

I can see how a situation like this can quickly and easily come to a head and end up being a situation like the involvement the US had in Iraq and Afghanistan. A full fledged war could easily come out of this which could have negative effects on our economy like the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
