Bill Cosby's Dilemma by Yasmine Bougacha (5th pd)

Last month, Bill Cosby was accused of having drugged and sexually assaulted several young women who were trying to make it into the acting industry. But even though he has never faced a judge, jury, or been convicted over any of the allegations made against him, it seems as if people have drawn their own conclusion on whether or not Mr.Cosby committed these crimes or not.
This article explains the multitude of view point from different news stations, talk shows, and other people. Many Americans have chosen to believe that all of these allegations are not true while others are trying to figure out what the spark was to create all of the smoke. Either way because of the lack of proof, it is nothing more than a he-say-she-say situation.
This reminds me of when people started to idolize celebrities and make them public figures and role models for every day life. Their business became the world's business which created room for a lot of public opinion to roam free in society.

  1. Unfortunately a lot of alleged rape cases can not be proven. It is a very hard crime to prosecute. If Bill Cosby really did do this to these women he deserves to be punished.
