Wrigley Burris 3 out of 4 people want war with ISIS

Americans are getting ever unhappy with President Obama's handling of the situation in the middle east with ISIS. 57% of Americans disapprove of how Obama is handling the ISIS threats. In November, just 43% supported deploying ground troops, while 55% of Americans opposed it; now the number in support has ticked up to 47%, the highest level of support yet measured, with just half of Americans opposed. The prospect of sending in ground troops remains a sticking point for both congressional Democrats and Republicans in the debate over Obama's Authorization for the Use of Military Force, which would give him legal authority to combat ISIS.

This relates to us history because the opposite was happening during the early 20th century with WWI. The president was reelected with the slogan," He kept us out of the war" But then went back on it and joined the war in 1917. This shows that the americaan people dont feel safe with the over seas threat. Just like the Red scare.

  2. Well the way I see it the world needs to do something to protect people from terrible violence. Maybe all out war isn't the best idea just something to protect innocent civilians.
